In a rare convergence of legacy and fresh fire, Melody Trucks, daughter of Allman Brothers Band legend Butch Trucks, hits the stage with the high-octane rhythm section of The Fitzkee Brothers and rising guitar phenom Jaden Lehman. This powerhouse lineup promises a night where deep Southern roots meet cutting-edge improvisation.
Trucks brings her signature blend of soulful vocals and percussion steeped in Southern rock tradition, while Drew and Alex Fitzkee lock into grooves that channel the spirit of the jam-band greats with a modern edge. Add in the 19-year-old Lehman—whose fluid guitar work draws from jazz, folk, and vintage blues—and you’ve got a show where the past and future of Americana collide.

We went to Fager’s Deck Party last evening. Music provided by Melody Trucks & the Fitzkee Brothers. Melody Trucks is considered southern rock royalty; she is the daughter of Butch Trucks, one of the founding members & drummer of the Allman Brothers Band; she is the cousin of Derek Trucks (Tedeschi Trucks Band); the incredibly talented Fitzkee Brothers hail from Lewes, DE; Drew plays bass & Alex is the drummer. They were joined by two OC mainstays; Otto Grundman on lead guitar & Nick French on piano. Excellent jam band show! Fun evening!
