Hanna Barakat Biography
Hanna Barakat is an award-winning Lebanese-Palestinian American powerhouse vocalist, songwriter, guitarist, and international performer. Merging hard rock and popular music styles with rich Arab/Oriental influences, Hanna’s unique sound creates a powerful bridge between diverse worlds. Completing this duo is drummer Lisa Fazenbaker, a fierce performer and passionate musician who elevates every track.
Deeply connected to the diaspora journey, Hanna’s socially and politically charged compositions resonate with those navigating life between cultures and homelands. Her music transcends language and borders, blending eastern ornamentation with universal themes to “touch the heart.” Through her passion-driven performances, she provides a voice for the displaced, celebrating the beauty of multicultural identities while exploring personal encounters, relationships, life challenges, and love.
