Mothfest 2025 celebrates the life of beloved Santa Cruz musician Dan Lamothe with a special event featuring music from Mad Marge, Fulminante, Dark Ride and Diggin' Trails plus specialty drinks and more!
Proceeds from ticket and raffle sales will go to local charities in Dan's name.

MAD MARGE
Mad Marge of the infamous psychobilly group "Mad Marge and the Stonecutters" have returned, along with guitarist Matt Romero and bassist Edgar Villareal from The Stonecutters fame. Bringing along with them long time friend Brent Ventimiglia from thrash metal gurus "Thrashquatch"

DARK RIDE
The Bay Area's premiere "Horror-Punk" band, Dark Ride has quickly established a following with their melodic, punk-rock anthems influenced by the likes of The Misfits, AFI and Alkaline Trio. Since the release of their debut EP in 2021 has played all over the US and will soon be releasing their first full length record "Blade Manor". The passion project of Santa Cruz native Emilio Menze (Stellar Corpses, Ambivalence, Plan 9).
DIGGIN' TRAILS
Diggin Trails is a five-piece Americana rock n' roll band hailing from Santa Cruz, California. With a diverse lineup of talented musicians, the band blends elements of country, rock, bluegrass and punk to create their unique and captivating sound.

Mad Marge & the Stonecutters Biography
The Stonecutters, located in Northern San Bernardino County and formed in late 2004 employing Dan Carlton on drums, Edgar Villareal on double bass, Matt Romero on guitar and Alicia Ridenour on vocals. This Rock N Roll four piece delivers an appealing and impacting sound with hints of Punk Rock, Psychobilly, Metal and everything inbetween. The Stonecutters played their first shows at some local High Desert bars where they recieved strong responses. By January 2005 The Stonecutters were playing with bands like the Rezurex and Demented are Go. Their 4 track E.P was also recorded in January and their first release "Mad Marge and The Stonecutters... Are Go" was well recieved by those who knew them and those who had just discovered them.
