About this concert
Forty Feet Tall:
Forty Feet Tall has cemented their place in the US indie scene as one of the Pacific Northwest’s most exciting acts. With a steady release of singles paving the way for an LP at the end of summer, produced by Cameron Spies (Spoon Benders, Blackwater Holylight, The Shivas), they showcase a wide range of post-punk sounds that are both volatile and intimate. Yet the biggest buzz around the band is their live shows. Whether they’re opening for Shame, Frankie and the Witch Fingers, Wine Lips, or headlining themselves, the four members leave it all on stage with gigs routinely ending in incendiary showstoppers that find the lead singer tangled up in mic cords or diving into the crowd.
Spoon Benders:
Spoon Benders is an American rock band from San Jose, California.[2][3] The band was formed in 1994[4] and was originally composed of Steve Harwell (lead vocals), Kevin Coleman (drums), Greg Camp (guitar), and Paul De Lisle (bass). Harwell's departure in 2021 left De Lisle as the sole remaining original member. They are known for their songs "Walkin' on the Sun" (1997), "All Star" (1999),[5]and "Then The Morning Comes" (1999), as well as a cover of The Monkees' "I'm a Believer" featured in Rat Race, Digimon: The Movie, Mystery Men, and Dreamworks Animations 2001 film "Shrek" (2001).
Kulululu:
Kulululu has traveled long and far to finally arrive on earth. While here, Kulululu is in search of the answers to the questions; why? and why not? You may not understand what they are saying. You may not understand why they look the way they do. They may not understand these things either. What's important is that time is continuous, and without it we cannot find our way back to where we started. The Post Punk Art Rock project formed in the Pacific Northwest in 2014. The group features a rotating cast of musicians from Portland Oregon and Tucson Arizona. Kulululu has released three studio albums, and one live performance recording. Live shows include experiments in costume and audience engagement. Kulululu is kulululu, and you are also that thing that they are called, kulululu.
