Join one of Seattle's suave crooners Reis & Cates joined by the Josh Rawlings Trio for a special night at The Raven. This will be an intimate night of live music reminiscent of old Jazz haunts and speakeasy's back in the roaring 20's. Get gussied up and come immerse yourself in a cool swinging Jazz vibe. Jay will be featuring music off his forthcoming album with the JRT and Tacoma based saxophonist crusher, Cliff Colón, will be joining them as well. It'll be a night to remember - don't miss it!

Josh Rawlings Biography
Josh Rawlings is one of most sought after performing and studio pianists in the Pacific Northwest today. He's a GRAMMY-Nominated and Multi-Platinum Award winning recording artist/composer. Rolling Stone described his piano playing on Macklemore & Ryan Lewis’ Single “Downtown” as a “bombastic, theatrical piano breakdown.” He’s also the featured pianist on their rousing landmark single “Same Love.” Josh has toured throughout the United States and Europe with Macklemore, emerging Soul/R&B sensation Allen Stone and performed with numerous award-winning groups including NW super group Industrial Revelation. Josh has also opened for legendary R&B/Soul singer Al Green and played in such esteemed venues as Red Rocks Amphitheater in Colorado, Ryan Auditorium (the original Grand Ole Opry), Bonnaroo and many more.
He currently makes his living as an active Producer/Studio Musician, Music Teacher, Songwriter & Performer living in Seattle. Josh is also a 2005 graduate of Cornish College of the Arts where he studied under the tutelage of esteemed Jazz musicians including Randy Halberstadt, Jovino Santos Neto, Hadley Caliman & Julian Priester.
