About this concert
On September 13, Martin Lönegren opens the evening at Orangeriet in Borås with a stripped-down, heartfelt set of original songs from his debut album Waterline. With roots in Americana, folk, and Scandinavian melancholy, Lönegren’s music tells stories of loss, clarity, and the quiet strength it takes to start over. Later in the evening: a powerful tribute to the legend himself — Eric Clapton.

Martin Lönegren Biography

Martin Lönegren has performed everywhere from pubs and restaurants to major festivals
like Kalmar Stadsfest and Gränna Bluegrass Festival, opening for artists such as Sven
Zetterberg and Eric Gadd. His music, influenced by the American south with a hint of
Swedish melancholy, is often compared to Bruce Springsteen, Gordon Lightfoot, Cat Stevens and Jim Croce. Whether performing solo or with a band, it’s his voice and lyrics that truly define him as an authentic artist.

Through his songs, Martin offers poignant reflections on time, meaning, and the human condition, inviting listeners to journey alongside him through the depths of their own souls. With a voice that resonates with raw authenticity, he captures the essence of longing, passion, and the bittersweet beauty inherent in the human experience.

The past year has been a productive one, to say the least - Martin has already released several singles, an EP, and a featuring single with the Dimpker Brothers. On November 22nd, he’ll release "Dream and Rewind," a nostalgic track reflecting on childhood memories and the
passage of time. It’s part of his debut album "Waterline," due out in May 2025.
