Based out of Richmond, VA, Catharsis is a melodic metalcore band integrating a wide range of musical components to create their powerful and dynamic sound. Weaving metalcore, melodic metal, groove metal, and progressive elements, the band has crafted a catalog that carries the spirit of these influences while shaping something entirely new. In 2024, the band released their debut EP “Chasing Echoes” showcasing their striking riffs, captivatingly memorable choruses, and punishing breakdowns through tight instrumentation and experienced musicianship.
