Lil Dee Raps "aka" Danny James Biography

Lil Dee (aka Danny James) is said by many to be the next rapper to carry the torch of hip hop. From the young age of 12, Dee spent all of his time learning how to rap by listening to rap legends, and studying the culture on a daily basis. The Coney Island native used social media to put himself on the map by releasing freestyles weekly, staying consistent, and murdering every song or cypher he stepped on.

Dee has performed at world-renowned venues like Radio City Music Hall, opened up for big names like Rick Ross and Ghostface Killah, and has been co-signed by rap legends such as RedMan, Ice T, Big Daddy Kane, and Benny The Butcher, all while he was in high school. At 14 years of age, he was marked as the youngest rapper to ever perform at the legendary Lyricist Lounge. Dee has released two EPs, several singles that vary in versatility and subject matter, and he has been featured on songs with heavy hitters like Kool G Rap, Nems, J Dilla, and RJ Payne, just to name a few.

His versatility, skill, consistency, and golden era roots have convinced hundreds of thousands of people that he is the next big thing, and will be the next rapper to blow up and carry the torch. Dee plans to spend this year dropping new EPs, singles and features, as well as continuing to hone his craft, grow his audience, build his brand, and perform. The great thing about Lil Dee is that whether you like trap or boom bap, hype tracks or sad songs, Danny has something in his catalog for you.
