These guys knocked it out of the park last night! Talented fellas playing beautiful, fun, often poignant songs with unending passion. Engaged with the audience throughout the show, and what a show it was! Our group was completely impressed with this band from the village of Seward Alaska. Kyle - it was very hard to take my eyes off you! What a Showman!! Tyson’s voice compels you to listen close to the words, and his amazing guitar playing filled in perfectly with the keys and the saxophone. Backbone of the band, bass player and drummer were so tight, they didn’t miss a beat! Driving beat from the constantly moving sax player and then singing like he was telling everyone a great story and using the entire stage, knowing exactly where everyone was, so much fun to watch!. Definitely going to see them again and again!!

Blackwater Railroad Company Biography

Blackwater Railroad Company began as a community band in Seward, Alaska, a deep-water harbor, port city and gateway to Kenai Fjords National Park. Over the past decade, the band honed folk-style songwriting and a raucous live show into a singular Alaskan voice that's grounded in storytelling and foot-stomping good times. Their new album A Lovely Place to Die finds them poised on the precipice of their next chapter.
