Steve Chris Biography
Steve Chris is a DJ/Producer from Indonesia. He has been studying music since he was 8. He completed his formal music education Sound Design Major, in 2013. A guitarist, sound engineer, sound designer, music producer, and DJ, his passion for creating beats drives him more towards being an electronic music producer and DJ.
Steve Chris has played in various clubs and events in Indonesia, Malaysia, and Berlin. And now he joined the biggest collective in Indonesia, Package Collective.
As a Producer, he made the official theme song for Yahoo! Omg Awards in Indonesia in 2012 and 2013. He was responsible for Sound Effect in the 2011 Sesame Street Indonesia TV Show. In 2018, he won The DCODE EDM Producer Competition. He also made some pieces of music for Lazada and SCTV in 2018, SCTV Mencari Bintang and Lazada Super Party with Dua Lipa in 2019, etc.
He released songs under International labels in the US, France, Netherlands, Argentina, Italy, etc.
He got some support from Hardstyle big names djs such as Aftershock, Teknoclash, DJ Thera, Villain and Wasted Penguinz, and also the one and only Laidback Luke. And he made a side project called MBVERT for the other genres.
In 2019, He was nominated for Paranoia Producer of the Year. And In 2021 and 2022, He was nominated for Indonesia Dance Chart Favourite Producer and Favourite Hardstyle Track of The Year.
