Karin Comes Killing

"The Crooked Place: Act 1” tells the story of Kidd, the lone survivor of wanted criminal/serial murderer Karin Comes Killing. At 14 years of age, Kidd was forced by Karin to participate in the murder of his abuser and “family” or choose death himself.
“The Incident” has affected every aspect of his life since. Now, 12 years later, Kidd has been living under the watchful eye of public interest, media, and authorities for far too long. Whether judged as a murderer, or pitied as a victim, he longs for an escape (“Machine”) from his “Crooked Place."
Now, with THE CROOKED PLACE: ACT 2, we rewind a few years to 2016 when Kidd has accepted a voluntary commitment to a Baltimore, MD psychiatric hospital ("Price of Admission"). 60 days into his stay at the hospital, Kidd is triggered by a live television broadcast in which authorities report on a recent sighting of Karin Comes Killing in the Baltimore area. Kidd's paranoia, manic rage, loneliness, and longing to help her, lead to a patient riot at the hospital ("Black Car").

Our next story/song " '76 (Saudade)" will be released 12/15/23, followed by the conclusion of ACT 2 with "Stasis" on 01/26/24.
