About this concert
Join us Mother's Day weekend for a special concert with Wisconsin singer-songwriters Whitney Rose and Jesús Villa.
Whitney Rose's simplistic songwriting style allows for her depth of emotion to come through in delivery. Her eclectic roots in Country and Gospel temper well with her modern influences of indie and folk, and provide a unique sound that is truly her own.
Jesús Villa's music is "as heartfelt as it is catchy". Drawing from American roots and folk traditions and mixing in pop sensibilities, his songs speak to your heart before getting stuck in your head.
Whitney and Jesús are both Green Room members of Wisconsin Music Ventures and regular performers around southeastern Wisconsin. Come check them out and support independent artists.

Wandering Whitney Rose Biography
I am a singer/songwriter based out of rural Wisconsin, although my life has led me to many places. I'm an Indiana native, but spent many years in the lush green hillside of TN raising babies. As life does, shifting sands brought me up here to the great white north. It was here in the frigidity of winter that I remembered who I was.
I am a woman.
I am a mother.
I am a daughter.
I am a human being, an animal.
I am holy, divinity in the flesh.
My spirit sings for the Creator.
My soul finds nourishment in making music.
It is my greatest pleasure to share with you my creations.
It is my greatest prayer that they serve you along your path.
