John Gallagher Jr. Biography
John Gallagher Jr. is an actor/singer/songwriter from Brooklyn, NY known for his roles on Broadway in Spring Awakening, American Idiot and the upcoming Avett Brothers musical Swept Away. His first record Six Day Hurricane was released in 2016 on Rockwood Music Hall Recordings. He self released his follow up LP 8th and Jane in 2021 and is prepping his third record Goodbye or Something for a 2024 release on the indie label Grand Phony Music. His music is best described as “emo folk rock” - a tragicomic blend of rootsy bravado and vulnerable heart-on-sleeve reflection.
