Tryptophan Biography

Tryptophan is a rock band based in Philadelphia PA. Their debut full-length album, Tryptophan, was released in the spring of 2025. The band consists of Juana Parral on vocals, Larry Barnes on guitar, and Dalton Whiting on bass. With influences that range from folk to metal to funk, Tryptophan strives to create experiences for their audiences that are fun, cathartic, and exciting in performing songs with themes around mental health and human nature, but also through songs about birds and alien life.
