Rachel Louise Biography
Rachèl Louise is a Dutch singer-songwriter who blends vulnerability and contemporary themes with captivating melodies. She debuted with the piano ballad “At The Disco”, an honest portrayal of her struggles with ADD. Her second EP, “Big Girls” (2017), created with Odd Martin Skålnes and Magnus Skylstad (AURORA), earned her international recognition and tours with AURORA, Racoon, and BLØF.
In 2018, she co-founded the country/folk band The BlueBirds with Elske deWall and Krystl, releasing two albums and selling out theaters across the Netherlands. As a songwriter, she has contributed to works by artists such as YUKI, OG3NE, Frenna, and Brooks.
In 2023, Rachèl returned to her solo career with “Popular Problems”, an EP addressing climate change, mental health, and the pressures of modern life, featuring tracks like “Sad On Sad” and “Down The Line”.
On Mother’s Day 2024, she released the piano track “Perfect Mother”, an ode to motherhood and the first single from a new EP set for release in 2025. With her heartfelt lyrics and universal appeal, Rachèl Louise continues to captivate audiences far beyond her home country.
