Jersey City-based songwriter Sean Kiely and friends bring their popular NICE music series across the river for an evening of music and novelty—including an opening set from the acclaimed Lily Talmers, and a live scored film short, Day of the Catch—in the Devlin Café at Irish Arts Center. Join us!

Sean Kiely Biography
Sean Kiely's music contemplates the world with a keen ear for compelling and surprising beauty. David Crosby said of his 2018 EP: “Fascinating music ... Very unusual, which of course I like.”
In 2023 Sean received the Jersey City Arts Council's Individual Artist Fellowship Grant and performed at the Hudson West Folk Festival. He recently completed a full-length record due out later in 2024, featuring Bill Campbell (Andrew Bird), Jared Engel (Tony Trischka), Maddie Witler (Della Mae), and 2022 Freshgrass fiddle champion Minnie Jordan.
Other highlights include regional touring with Abbie Gardner (Red Molly) and a 7-plus year residency at Jersey City's The Archer.
