About this concert
Doors at 6 for dinner, show at 7! Amy Fairchild, a multi-award-winning songwriter and recording artist based in Boston, MA, has earned top honors in the Lilith Fair Talent Competition, Kerrville Folk Festival, John Lennon Songwriting Competition, Maxell Song of the Year, and Billboard World Song Competitions. Her breakthrough 2002 album Mr. Heart, produced by Adam Steinberg, was praised by legendary critic Dave Marsh as a record worthy of major-label success. Relocating from NYC to Boston the same year, she pursued a second career in real estate while continuing her music. In 2014, she released a self-titled album, earning praise from critics, including the late Steve Morse, and producing three music videos reminiscent of MTV’s prime. She co-founded the Americana-infused band MIRIAM in 2015 with Carla Ryder and Andy Santospago, and in 2017, she released Nobody’s Satellite, again produced by Steinberg, which The Aquarian Weekly lauded as “even better” than its predecessor.

Amy Fairchild Biography
Amy Fairchild is a multi-award winning songwriter living in Boston, MA. Right from the start of her musical career in Northampton, MA in 1996, this roots-pop beauty garnered high honors revealing a talented songwriter who deftly gets to the heart of the matter. She won the Lilith Fair Talent Competition in 2000 and took home a top Kerrville
Folk Festival prize in 2001. She continued to bring home honors with the release of her 2002 record, “Mr. Heart (produced by Adam Steinberg) including first prizes in The John Lennon Songwriting Competition, Maxell Song of the Year and the Billboard World Song Competition. Dave Marsh said, “If there still was a recording industry, this would come out on a major label and would be such a big hit you’d be sick of her by now. Not many people make records this good.”
With 12 years between recordings, in June 2014 she released her self-titled third record to the acclaim of the best music writers in the industry including the legendary Steve Morse. With 3 videos in support of the record worthy of the best airplay from the MTV days, Amy shows no signs of taking her foot off the gas as she’s just released a fourth
record, “Nobody’s Satellite” (April 25th , 2017…again produced by Adam Steinberg). Mike Greenblatt at The Aquarian Weekly says this of the
new record, “When singer/songwriter Amy Fairchild released her impressive 2014 self-titled cd, it was so good that I fell in love with her immediately. Nobody’s Satellite is even better. Twenty years in she’s just reaching her near-brilliant stride.”
