GIALLORENZO—like the surname of a guy who died years ago, lingering in his home well beyond his death. Other than that, they’re an Italian lo-fi band, blending punk rock with raw, unfiltered songwriting. In 2019, they released what Vice called the best Italian indie album of the year, "MILANO POSTO DI MERDA", a passionate tribute to the outcasts of the city. Its follow-up, "FIDATY" (2020), deepened the formula of their debut. Their third album is "SUPER SOFT RESET" (2022), an alt-punk record with a dark, pandemic-fueled heart. After a break dedicated mainly to solo projects (montag, CALMI and giovanni pedersini), they celebrated the fifth anniversary of their first album with a vinyl release and a tour, warmly welcomed by an ever-growing audience. On February 13, 2025, they unexpectedly drop the off-kilter single “PER QUALCOSA O QUALCUNO" and on April 25 they came back with "INNI E CANTI", their 4th album, for those who, in the meantime, keep getting attached to their noisy, chaotic, and emotionally sticky songs.
