About this concert
Hotel Paradise Orchestra will perform music covering a wide variety of dance styles... waltzes, foxtrots, cha-chas, rumbas, swings, and more. Warm-up music starts at 2:30 pm. A beginner lesson in ballroom basics with a focus on Slow Waltz begins at 2:45. Music then plays from 3:30 until 6:00 pm. During the afternoon there will be a mixer and a samba line dance or two.
Admission is $20 at the door or $10 for full-time students / Thursday evening students and active-duty military (Cash /Check/Zelle/Credit Card). Many singles attend Ballroom Time events. All are invited. Children under 18 should be accompanied by an adult.

Janet lives in the Baltimore area and headlines all over the East Coast, either leading her own ensembles or performing with The Hotel Paradise Orchestra which specializes in music from the 1920 and 1930s. She is a classically trained singer and began her career with a full scholarship to Carnegie Mellon University, and went on to perform with a variety of opera companies in New England and the Midwest.
