Denzel Kennedy Biography

Denzel Kennedy is a Brisbane based Hip Hop & Rap artist. Influenced by some of the genre's finest, including J. Cole, Joey Badass, Kota the Friend, and Capital Steez, Denzel's artistry is a true representation of his unique and diverse sound.

Denzel's lyrical prowess and thought-provoking bars are delivered over Pro Era type beats, making his music both infectious and resonant. Drawing inspiration from his Kalkadoon heritage and the traditional country that surrounds the Mount Isa region, Denzel's cultural roots run deep.
His discography to date showcases his range and versatility, with his debut album IDEL, followed by Thank you For the Tutorial, Grammys, The Knicks Freestyle, and his latest single Karma. In 2021, Denzel signed with Blak Label Music, setting the stage for his anticipated sophomore EP, set to drop early in 2023.
Denzel's electric performances have been captivating audiences, with his first live show at Wavey Sessions 3 being a sold-out success. Opening the show, Denzel set the tone for the night, leaving fans begging for more. In November 2022, Denzel played his second live show as the opening act for Aussie Hip-Hop legends Horrorshow, once again winning the crowd over with his high-energy performance.
