Voice of Sylas Biography
Voice of Sylas is a high-octane and all-original Metalcore band originating from Fort Wayne, IN. The band was formed in late-2020 as a concept by guitarist Aaron Nagy. The group is currently comprised of Clayton Hamilton (Vocals), Chris McVicar (Guitar), Aaron Nagy (Guitar), Matt Harris (Bass), and Curtis Backfish (Drums).
The group takes inspirations from classic metalcore bands such as August Burns Red and Killswitch Engage; with a smooth blend of pumping high-octane thrillers to melodic and softspoken pieces. The group recently released an EP titled "Ascension" with hints of each inspiring sound, and it's guaranteed to knock your socks off.
“The music of Voice of Sylas in 'Breaking The Burden' envelops us in a unique sensory experience. The combination of elements of traditional metalcore with touches of space melodies and impeccable production creates a fresh and original sound that will captivate you from the first moment.”
— EXPANSIÓN RADIAL
“Voice of Sylas’ song 'What You Seek' takes listeners on a powerful journey filled with frustration and anger towards a deceptive individual who thrives on spreading lies. The band’s lyrics confront this hypocritical person, urging them to face the consequences of their actions instead of hiding behind falsehoods. . .The sonic energy unleashed by the band showcases the emotional intensity of dealing with such a person. The vocals, dripping with anger and frustration, flow forcefully through the veins of the listeners.”
