Exigh Biography
Exigh (stylized “XI”) is a raw and genre-defying hip hop duo founded by Rbiz and JaeO. The name, drawn from the Roman numeral for eleven, reflects their philosophy of “function over form” and a belief in spiritual expression beyond titles. Their music fuses 90s hip hop with blues, rock, funk, country, and soul, channeling lives marked by struggle, survival, and transformation.
Rbiz brings experience in consulting and management, while JaeO—shaped by Montana’s outlaw biker scene and a turbulent youth—infuses grit and depth into every lyric. Scrillion, JaeO’s brother, later joined the movement after serving a decade-long sentence. Together, they craft music that’s intensely personal and unfiltered—born from gang life, near-death experiences, and global missions. Exigh invites listeners into a journey of pain, redemption, and truth.
