TuskHead Biography
TuskHead, the stage name of Dutch Americana artist and singer-songwriter Patrick van Zandwijk, weaves raw, heartfelt lyrics into melodies that explore love, pain, and everyday life. Known for his warm, acoustic performances—whether solo, duo, or trio—TuskHead creates an intimate atmosphere that resonates long after the final note fades.
TuskHead is no stranger in the European Americana scene. In 2024, two of his songs earned coveted spots in the Gelderse Top 20, reaching 5th and 3rd place. This builds on his 2022 success, when he also appeared in the chart and was featured on Spotify’s official Route Americana playlist.
TuskHead’s artistry has earned him sponsorships from Vintage Guitars and Gold Tone, the latter naming him an ambassador in 2024. His international collaborations include working with country legend Josh Morningstar in Nashville and recording at the iconic Modern Electric Sound Recorders in Dallas, Texas, alongside members of The Texas Gentlemen. These sessions yielded a 2023 vinyl release and laid the groundwork for his forthcoming second full-length album, produced by Joel Raif and set to debut in 2025.
