BUNKER. Biography

BUNKER delivers the beloved Britrock sound of the '90s with a modern twist. The band offers catchy songs, a powerful sound, and an energetic, interactive live show. With the rise of bands like Oasis, Inhaler, and Catfish & The Bottlemen, the Netherlands is ready for its own Britrock sensation, and BUNKER fills this gap with authentic guitar-driven music.

BUNKER is no stranger to the stage and has already made significant strides in the music scene. In 2024, they opened the main stage at Vestrock, receiving glowing reviews, including one from Dansende Beren: "With a sound reminiscent of everything that made '90s Britpop great, they delivered a razor-sharp set with tons of confidence.." They’ve also performed at notable venues and events such as Breda Barst, De Mezz, Gebouw-T, and Brandparkies.

Their debut EP, Queen Cuisine, revolves around their hometown of Bergen op Zoom, reflecting on growing up in a small city where the silence grows heavier, and a sense of claustrophobia builds. Tackling themes like feeling out of place or an unattainable crush, the tracks on this EP capture the stifling emotions of being trapped in a world that feels too small, painting a relatable picture for anyone who has ever felt confined by their surroundings.
