Anton Zaslavski, known professionally as Zedd, is a Russian-German DJ, record producer, and songwriter recognized for his fusion of electronic dance music (EDM) with pop and classical influences. Zedd's passion for music began with classical training in piano as well as drums. Zedd gained attention in 2010 with his remixes for artists like Skrillex and Lady Gaga. His breakthrough came in 2012 with the release of Clarity, featuring Foxes, which won the Grammy Award for Best Dance Recording in 2014. The song propelled him to mainstream success, followed by hits such as Stay the Night (ft. Hayley Williams), I Want You to Know (ft. Selena Gomez), and The Middle (with Maren Morris & Grey), which became a global smash in 2018. Throughout his career, Zedd has collaborated with top artists including Ariana Grande, Katy Perry, and Alessia Cara. His album True Colors (2015) showcased his evolving sound. Recognized for his production skills, Zedd has won multiple awards and remains a leading figure in EDM, known for his intricate melodies and genre-blending approach.
