Born in the bars of Bozeman, Montana, and raised on the road, The Waiting isn't your average tribute act. No wigs. No cosplay. Just a pack of seasoned players bringing the music of Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers to life with raw energy, deep grooves, and a whole lotta love.
We don’t impersonate—we interpret. Think roadhouse rock meets heartfelt homage. From the hits you blast with the windows down to the deep cuts only the truest fans know by heart, The Waiting delivers the full Petty experience—loud, proud, and played like we mean it.
Since 2013, we’ve been shaking the rafters at festivals, theaters, and back-alley dives across the Northwest and beyond. Whether it’s “American Girl,” “You Got Lucky,” or that Wilburys gem you forgot you loved—we’ve got it dialed in and turned up.
