The Pickpockets Biography
The Pickpockets are an indie-rock band from Chicago. The band's sound is influenced by British and American post-punk and indie music of the '80's and '90's, and over the last several years, the foursome has displayed its devout allegiance to tunefulness through its vigorous live shows. The Pickpockets' self-released 2011 debut, By the Time We're Through, permits a wider audience to appreciate the band's pop aptitude. Over the album’s thirteen tracks, distinctive vocals relate indelible narratives while guitars alternately dignify and rub dirt on the agreeable melodies.
