Irah Nox Biography
Irah Nox (eye-ruh-nox) rises from the ashes of California’s deathcore pioneers, Torn Within. Half blind, in the snow, and passing over the Rockies, Irah Nox conjures a unique deathcore perspective. The band's record (Morticorigin) is a horror/supernatural themed thrash and hardcore soundtrack--think Stephen King meets deathcore. Morti-core-origin was released on October 18th, 2024.
Ian Hayes, the engine, main composer, and legally blind guitarist has been hard at work building up the Colorado metal scene as a promoter, producer, and publicist showcasing local thrash, hardcore, and deathmetal bands. With Irah Nox, Ian contributes a proggy-hardcore-deathcore ten song LP with shreddy guitar details. The layers of strings are uniquely distinct in the context of the horror inspired soundtrack.
Irah Nox is supported by Colorado labels, Braeburn Records and DED Records and Texas record label, Deathly Decibels. Internationally, the band is supported by Been There Scene That Records.
