The Trouble Notes sind ein progressives World-Folk-Trio. Die für ihre explosive Energie und weltliche Melodien bekannte Band wurde 2013 vom Geiger Bennet Cerven gegründet und hat sich seitdem in der internationalen World-Folk-Szene einen Namen gemacht. Der Kern der Band stammt aus drei verschiedenen Ländern: der amerikanische Geiger Bennet Cerven, der deutsche Gitarrist Florian Eisenschmidt und der britische Schlagzeuger Peter Shaw. Ihre Shows sind voller Überraschungen, bekannt dafür, internationale Gastkünstler zu sein, die zu den energiegeladenen, weltlichen Klängen beitragen, die das Herzstück ihres Repertoires bilden. Sie tourten ausgiebig durch Europa und Nordamerika. Sie traten im Fernsehen in den USA, Europa, Japan und Brasilien auf. Sie haben auf vielen der großen Festivalbühnen Europas und mit großen internationalen Acts wie Jethro Tull, Rodrigo y Gabriela und America gespielt.
