Trevor Cooke

On Friday June 6th, Morgantown-based Alt-Pop artist Trevor Cooke is teaming up with Pittsburgh’s Pop-Rock trio 5thSZN to provide a night of musical entertainment at The Encore. Also featured on the bill is Morgantown’s Vandalia, a modern Alt-Rock group. The event marks the first time Trevor Cooke has collaborated with 5thSZN, after meeting the group at a local open mic. The show also comes on the heels of the release of “Love Language,” Cooke’s fourth independent album, which describes a host of different types of affection; each song on the record being a different kind of love. Born & Bred Music’s Brendan Ghallager calls the album “a journey through the human experience, a raw and honest exploration of love, loss, and the complexities of life set against the background of an Appalachian upbringing.”
