Kana Ruth Biography
Kana Ruth @Kanaruth
Kana Ruth, an 18-year-old artist based in San Francisco, California (currently living in Japan, attending university), started her musical journey performing in local musical theatre productions (training in acting, singing, and dancing) before becoming a pop singer.
Being half Japanese and half American, Kana is fluent in both languages.
Having a musical background from her mother's influence as a classical pianist, Kana continues to build her foundation in music.
Kana's musical inspiration stems from pop and R&B artists such as Pinkpantheress, Muni Long, Ariana Grande, Fuji Kaze, and many more. Through a pop/R&B sound, Kana showcases her smooth vocals and raw emotions. She aims to deliver and produce relatable, inspiring, and uplifting music.
Kana drives towards success through her accomplishments, such as performing at Apollo Theatre Amateur Night in Harlem, New York, at just 14 years old, working with a manager in LA, and being a trainee at Sony Music Japan Entertainment.
Kana hopes to deliver more music to the world to make people feel heard.
