Nene Heroine

NENE HEROINE is a jazz/psychedelic band from Gdansk, Poland. Their work is a mixture of analog sounds, dub, post-rock, improvisation and communicative and emotional melodies. Following their highly acclaimed debut album "Total Panorama" (Alpaka Records), the band presents a new program titled "MOVA." It is an expansion of the previous exploration of the musical, "trip" into which the artists take the listeners. The musicians of the band do not like to compromise, and they treat jazz only as a starting point for creating new structures. Each performance, depending on the space, the nature of the event and the energy of the audience, takes on a unique form that even the musicians themselves cannot fully predict. Their focus is always on the "here and now," which makes their music never fail to surprise, which in turn makes each of their concerts a one-of-a-kind experience. Last year Nene Heroine performed at many great festivals in Poland and above all at the most prestigious Polish festival with alternative music, „OFF Festival” - all of which resulted in great reviews from the press and the attendees. They’ve also received a distinguished KMAG magazine award (MOSKITY 2023) in the music category.
