Dead Raze Biography
Formed in 2022, this Irish-Scouse duo has quickly carved out a niche in the music scene, delivering swampy, garage-blues with raw energy and grit. Their sound, described as “a feral Seasick Steve having a fight with Joe Strummer”, has drawn comparisons to icons like The Stooges, Lead Belly, MC5 , and T-Bone Walker —a mix that’s primal, fast, and unapologetically loud.
The duo has already made a name across Europe, touring mainland Europe multiple times and lighting up stages across the UK and Ireland. Recording their debut album in Iceland has added depth to their sound, while their singles have been embraced by RTE Ireland, BBC Introducing, and celebrated by the legendary Mike Watt (Minutemen , Iggy And The Stooges).
Their debut album, Mudbugs, is out now, and with a busy tour schedule ahead and plans to head back to the studio, this band shows no signs of slowing down. As 2FM’s Cormac Battle puts it, “They make a fantastic noise.”
