Smiley Rojas-Nunez

A bilingual Hip Hop Lyricist like no other, Smiley Rojas-Nuñez wields his infectious smile and lyrical wizardry to bring love and light to all beings. Smiley found the courage to fully delve into his Hip-Hop career after completing his first 10-day silent Vipassana meditation retreat in 2018. The silence gave him clarity and dared him to move away from his comforts, guiding him to Mexico where he continues to grow his connection with spirit, nature, gratitude, love, self-worth, and compassion.

Enveloped by the sounds of the ocean and the rustling of trees in Mazunte, Mexico, Smiley connects with his most authentic self, and from this authentic place, he channels the messages he believes are worth sharing with the world. In Mazunte Smiley has been inspired to write many songs including “Amor Amor Amor” which invites listeners to love and believe in themselves. “Elevate” is a song that reminds you that you are worthy and capable of rising to your potential. In Mazunte, Smiley found the courage to give his all to performing and worked to get invited to perform at both the 2023 and 2024 Envision Festival in Costa Rica. In November 2024 Shanin Blake invited Smiley to open for her during her National Tour in Austin Texas. In January 2025 Mose invited Smiley to jam with him live at Eagles Nest in Guatemala. In February 2025 Alex Serra invited Smiley to jam with him in Tepotzlan, Mexico.

Smiley’s goal is clear: to continue investing in deepening with his most authentic self, nature, and spirit so that the messages he is channeling can reach those who need them most. Today, Eight years after writing his first song, Smiley remains committed to achieving success in music and sharing the messages he is channeling with the world. “Amor Amor Amor” and “Elevate” are just the first two songs from his upcoming 11-song debut album.
