Dishy Tangent Biography
Dishy Tangent are a 5 piece original band from Canning Town, East London formed in 2012. The current line-up consists of Reason (lead vocals, keytar, guitar and harmonica), Sustainard (guitar and backing vocals) Sonic (bass guitar and backing vocals), Yung Blud (keyboards and backing vocals) and Dr. Dish (drums and percussion).
Dishy Tangent have a sound like no other band on the scene, and have gained notoriety for their genre bending approach to music, with regular indie radio support of the latest albums: Timeless Music and Jumping On The Bandwagon
The band have supported music legends The Darkness , UB40 (Ali, Astro and Mickey), The Beat, The Egg and Space and worked with promoters: Flat50 Records, E13 Music, Absent Kelly,Twisted Melon Promotions and Trinifold Managament with live performances at:
The Hope Festival, Dereham Carnival, Dark Horse Fest (Isle of Man), Time 107.5 FM, Phoenix FM, KLFM, Festival Too 2018, The Cornbury Music Festival, VW Whitenoise Festival 2018, Cardiff Motorpoint Arena and The O2 London Arena
2019 has seen the band make their debut on national television, by making 3 appearances on Channel 4 and Dice Recordings’ The Big Narstie Show alongside Laville, Mundu and Donae’o.
