An annual Okinawan festival held in Kawasaki during Japan’s Golden Week (a series of national holidays in late April and early May), now in its 22nd year.
The event features free live performances by artists with Okinawan roots, as well as a variety of Okinawan cuisine to enjoy.
It is one of the major cultural events in the capital region, drawing visitors from all over.

shuri Biography
Born in Naha, Okinawa, Japan.
In 2021, her powerful and dynamic vocals caught the attention of renowned composer Yuki Kajiura, leading to her selection as a vocalist for FictionJunction, a project that provided an insert song for the anime Princess Principal: Crown Handler Chapter 2.
Since then, her exceptional vocal ability has gained recognition across various fields, including participation as a backing vocalist for Hironobu Kageyama’s songs and live performances.
In October 2023, she released her highly anticipated 1st EP, Special.
In April 2024, all tracks from the EP were made available for digital streaming and distribution.
Currently, she is actively performing live while working on new music.
