Naomi Campbell Music

Liverpool based Americana/Folk artist Naomi Campbell delivers a soulful blend of storytelling and melody through her music. Originally from a small rural town in Northern Ireland, Naomi moved to Liverpool in 2014 focusing primarily on her original material, before forming three-part harmony band Motel Sundown with two friends in 2018. 

Over the past few years Naomi has revisited her solo sound after garnering inspiration performing classic Soul & Blues tracks with Liverpool Arts Bar house band Tin Can Voodoo. 

Drawing inspiration from a hybrid of vocalists combining softer Americana influences of Gillian Welch, Sandy Denny and Emmylou Harris with the earthy, grittier vocals of the likes of Etta James and Bobbie Gentry, Naomi has carved out her own sound on stage with support shows for the likes of Chris Helme (The Seahorses), John Calvin Abney, Campbell/Jensen, Blue Goose and Muireann Bradley.

In March 2024 Naomi self-produced and released her debut single Tuesday’s News ("a sobering yet life-affirming slice of acoustic folk” - Liverpool Noise), inspired by the West Coast sounds of Laurel Canyon. Naomi's second independent release This is Gold was released in July.

Whist performing across Nashville and Memphis last year, Naomi visited the world renowned Sun Studio where she recorded her original song, Don’t You Mind. The single was released in 2024 with a full band version recorded in Liverpool at the Motor Museum recording studio.

Naomi is now set to release her next Soul offering, Remembering, in spring 2025.
