Bin Weasel

Bin Weasel is a four-piece alternative rock/melodic punk band from Cambridge, UK.

Founded in 2022 by singer/guitarist Martin Brammah, bassist Neil MacMullen ("B’Neil") was first to join the band. After years talking about music and their experience playing in bands, Martin and Neil began thrashing out song ideas. B’Neil coined the name Bin Weasel, reworking celebrity names: Vin Diesel became Bin Weasel. Someone should tell him!

Rhythm guitarist and backing singer Tom Anghileri was next to join. Having played with Martin in local covers band The Juliets, it was clear that Tom was the man for the job: a self-confessed “musical whore” with incredible on-stage energy and a willingness to (literally) bleed for his art.

Drummer Neil Hamilton-Meikle ("D’Neil") joined the group via Facebook, winning the other three over with his charm, enthusiasm and rock solid beats.

In 2024, Bin Weasel played their first gig in the heats of Cambridge Band Competition, winning their heat and reaching the finals! Through the year, they played at several popular Cambridge venues, including Hank's, The Portland Arms and The Junction, as well as at Strawberry Fair. They even recorded a Christmas single in Martin's dining room. How's that for DIY?

2025 sees Bin Weasel back in the final of Cambridge Band Competition having won the Audience Choice vote in the heats. It also sees the release of their first single, Line 'Em Up!
