About this concert
Doug.
doug is a four piece punk band from the NH Seacoast known for their raucous live shows and genre bending mix of riff rock and post punk.
Formed in 2019 while still in high school, doug quickly drew ears in New England, opening up for acts like Scissor Fight, and earning themselves recording time to crank out a debut EP in a day.
Emerging from the pandemic with new material and a new guitarist, doug released their debut album Beholder in September 2024. doug is entering 2025 with a new bassist and a thirst for the road, tighter and heavier than ever.
theWorst
Hailed by Alternative Press as the "...glorious love child of Joan Jett & Kurt Cobain," theWorst has been on a meteoric rise since their inception in 2016. Led by bandleader and true survivor, Brooke Binion, the band has gained a reputation as a one-of-a-kind raucous live act, fueled by an aggressive raw sound, anthemic songs and a brutally honest lyricism that is rare in today's highly commercial and often fabricated mainstream music scene. Having toured nationwide and coast to coast since 2016, theWorst is composed of Binion on lead vocals and guitar, Will Bradford (SeepeopleS) on bass and Craig Sala (Paranoid Social Club, Planeside) on drums. theWorst earned wide critical acclaim with the release of their debut album Jane Doe Embryo (RascalZRecordZ 2017) and their sophomore LP, Yes Regrets (RascalZRecordZ 2022), which featured musical contributions from members of Morphine and The Distillers and garnered coverage from major media outlets including Revolver, Under The Radar, Brooklyn Vegan, Glide Magazine, New Noise, and the aforementioned Alt-Press, to name a short few.
Currently the band just finished recording their third studio release, a four song EP entitled Quiet the Gods, due for release in November on RascalZ RecodZ. The band has reunited with long-time producer Will Holland (Pixies, Fall Out Boy) and recorded the EP at the legendary Chillhouse Studios in Boston, MA. The band is also currently rolling out select US dates in celebration and support of the new EP. Grub Lord:
Grub Lord is a band that demands to be taken as unseriously as possible. Described as “Riot grrrl meets pop punk with fantastically silly lyrics and a nuclear blast of stage energy” they come out swinging with their antics and shenanigans whether you’re ready or not. Based in the NH Seacoast, Grub Lord derives inspiration from the likes of Mannequin Pussy, Ghost, Bratmobile and even TOOL. Just recently out of the studio they are due to an EP on April 17th keep an ear out for that!
