Bruant

Immerse yourself in the world of Bruant, where pulsating electro rhythms mingle with voluble, poetic melodies. Their music, a sonic journey oscillating between reverie and revolt, fuses classical piano, dynamic drums and ecstatic synths.
Antoine Wargnies (piano), Charly Michaux (keyboards) and Julien Derenne (drums) met at conservatories in Namur, Brussels and Ghent. With their academic backgrounds behind them, and a desire for something new, they have combined their talents to bring Bruant to life in 2021. In autumn 2023, they unveiled their first single “Déjeuner”, a frenetic, haunting electronic loop that, in its repetition, never ceases to progress and carry us away.
In 2025, the group released a three-sound EP with a key single to represent the group: Coupure.
