About this show
1pm doors, 2pm show $25 + booking fee Please book carefully – as no refunds on tix. Here's a blurb about this fabulous show for the whole family: Beloved “roots music” kids band The Vegetable Plot first sprouted at the 2014 Sydney Fringe, winning the award for Best Children's show. Since then Aspara Gus, Ru Barb and Sir Paul McCarrotney have travelled all over Australia, playing their funky-fresh tunes and spreading "Love and Peas". Now part of the ABC Kids music family, with listeners in over 150 countries, multiple international awards, an ARIA nomination and more than 3 million streams on Spotify to their name, The Vegetable Plot has grown into that rare thing: a "kids band" that adults enjoy listening to just as much as the kids. Join them at Qirkz as they launch their spectacular new album (and book) "Season Three"! "There are few joys in this world coupled with the sheer delight of hearing a Vegetable Plot song for the first time. Or the second, third, fourth or fifth time! Their music is nothing short of an absolute marvel and the pinnacle of what it means to write respectful music for children" - Major Minor Music Australia

The Vegetable Plot Biography

Beloved Aussie kids band The Vegetable Plot first sprouted at the 2014 Sydney Fringe, winning the award for Best Children’s show. Since then, Aspara Gus, Ru Barb and Sir Paul McCarrotney have travelled all over Australia, playing their funky-fresh tunes, spreading Love and Peas and serving up a big wriggling heap of truly rotten puns.

Now part of the ABC Kids music family, with listeners in over 150 countries, multiple International awards, an ARIA nomination and more than 3 million streams on Spotify to their name, The Vegetable Plot has grown into that rare thing: a “kids band” that adults enjoy listening to just as much as the kids.
