AAC presents Broken Compass Bluegrass as part of the 2025 Summer Concert Series. Bring a friend, a picnic, and a low-back chair or blanket to experience free live music in this unique outdoor environment under the canopy of the Preserve’s 3-acre oak woodland in the heart of Downtown Auburn. All ages welcomed.

Broken Compass Bluegrass Biography
Broken Compass Bluegrass is an acoustic quartet that has rapidly gained acclaim for its razor-sharp arrangements, organic interplay and well-developed songwriting. The band performs a mix of jamgrass, bluegrass, country, and Grateful Dead material, among numerous original material.
Based in northern California, Broken Compass Bluegrass includes Kyle Ledson, Django Ruckrich, Mei Lin Heirendt, and Sam Jacobs. Though still youngsters, they are no strangers to the music industry. They are seasoned performers, multi-instrumentalists, songwriters, and singers and have established themselves as some of California’s most prominent up-and-coming youth. Now coming together as a band, they are a fresh force in the music scene today.
