Maverick Smith Biography

🎸 Maverick Smith | Live rock. No filters. No apologies.

Born from late nights, loud amps, and a love for real-deal rock 'n' roll, Maverick Smith exploded onto the scene with zero fanfare and one surprise hit — the gritty, gut-punch single “Through This Tonight.” What followed was anything but typical.

Their debut album, a word-of-mouth success, stitched together raw passion and vintage soul, with production help from rock veterans like Ken Stringfellow, Paul Santo, and Dallas Dwight. But if the studio work lit the spark, the live shows are where the fire really starts.

Maverick Smith on stage is a high-voltage, no-holds-barred experience — a storm of guitar hooks, bagpipes, distortion, strings, and sneaky singalongs that hit harder than expected. Every show is different. Every set is alive. And nothing — not even the band — feels fully under control (in the best possible way).

Call it indie. Call it classic. Call it rock with a heartbeat. Just don’t call it background music.
