Chika Di is a Colombian-born, California-based artist blending Afro-Latin rhythms, electronic textures, and heartfelt pop into a sound that’s both rooted and radiant. Formerly the lead singer of La Misa Negra, she toured North America for over a decade before launching her solo career in 2020. Since then, her music has appeared in Euphoria, Gentefied, and Generation+, and she became the face of McDonald’s national Hispanic Heritage Month campaign in 2024 with her single “Oh La La.”
Her debut album marked a turning point — fusing personal storytelling with cultural identity — and now, with her most intimate release to date, “I Say Yes” (out June 19), she offers a bachata-pop love letter inspired by her own proposal and produced alongside her husband. Whether on stage or in the studio, Chika Di brings an electrifying, emotional presence rooted in community, joy, and unapologetic honesty.
