Jokrates Biography
Widely regarded as one of Finland’s top rap lyricists, Jokrates has been releasing music since 2018. Showcasing his talent early on, he was crowned Finland’s Rap Champion in 2019.
Jokrates’ music moves seamlessly between pop and hip-hop, with influences ranging from Drake to Bruno Mars. In June 2023, he released the single Rio together with Phimi, which climbed to #8 on Spotify’s Top 50 chart and was certified gold by the fall.
In May, Jokrates dropped his Laatikko EP, created during Finland’s most-watched livestream in history. The EP’s lead single, En Haluu Kuolla Helsinkiin, released in March, reached #16 on the Top 50 chart.
