About this concert
Doors: 7:30pm Show: 8:30pm $10 door charge Bar on site The Erly Performing together since 2018, The Erly has released four studio albums, including the newest in their catalog, an 11-track americana rock album called ‘Salem Lights’ (9/4/24). Featuring each member on lead vocals, it contains narrative-driven lyrics that paint southern-gothic landscapes amongst emotional, rootsy playing. Born out of happenstance, a jam sesh with intent to create demos in Gleason’s basement, ‘Salem Lights’ evolved into a completed body of work. Produced by Paul Bennett, the band describes the album as, “No metronome, all the microphone bleed you can get, and the true sound of The Erly working together in their natural state.” Though this album finds The Erly at their most relaxed, they are no strangers to creating a high-octane, jam-adjacent live performance. Silver Creek Revival The robust musical talent coming out of Michigan often leads one to think that “there must be something in the water.” This feels accurate for alt-country/indie folk band, Silver Creek Revival, who’s namesake flows through the wooded property near their rehearsal space in Northern Lower Michigan. As singular musicians, Ashley, Sam, Jack, Hannah, Rowdy, and Henry have strong personal musical identities. When each member brings their own diverse influences and style into the fold, something magical happens. The blend of each instrument, often supporting four part harmonies, is easy and genuine. SCR released their latest album, “Young in Warm Weather” in August 2024. It was recorded at The Greenhouse in New Albany Indiana, where Houndmouth recorded their latest album "Good For You." Working with Shane Cody as producer, mix engineer, and musical guru, the band has tapped into a deep well of creative inspiration… Joe Baughman Playing an amorphous variety of folk-rock that incorporates elements of indie, funk, gospel, etc., JB+RF is an ensemble of musician-friends led by singer-songwriter and filmmaker Joe Baughman. Equally influenced by the sacred and profane, JB+RF's music takes color from daily Middle American existence, personal sadsackery, religious imagery, and Joe's experience as a freelance artist.

The Erly is the best band to come out of Michiana, period. These guys are absolutely fantastic. Their sound is bluesy and funky, and their classic rock influences are clearly evident. Colin, lead singer/bassist, is like a strange mixture of Ryan Tedder, Tina Weymouth, and a sober version of Flee. He digs into every performance, and always gives his all. Trevor, lead guitar, is the scholar of the band, and he's obviously schooled himself in Clapton, Frampton and Brian May. Alyssa at the keyboards is the Jillian Gilbert of The Erly, except on top of her dancing fingers, she has a knockout voice that leaves the crowd cheering every time. Last but not least, Fran is the percussion soul of this band, coaxing those skins and driving the beat relentlessly like Stephen Morris. Be it an original song or a cover like Burning Down the House, these guys always bring down the house. You have to check them out while you can because they are going to go far!

The Erly Biography

Strangers in the same old crowd, cigarettes on the rebound, The Erly is Michiana's main source of jazz rock and indie-groove. Formed in 2018, The Erly features an ensemble of musicians that all contribute to lead vocals and solos. Latest album "Culture Fever" finds the nostalgic, indie groove combo at their most retro, with enough chutzpah to keep it from being tacky. Follow up single "OH10" was released on April 24th, 2024. Trading in platform shoes for cowboy boots, OH10 reveals The Erly's roots with a stripped back, rambunctious arrangement, and portrays a story about how they were once stranded in Ohio.
