Textured, ethereal, and blissfully haunting, the U.S. - based quintet creates boundary-pushing rock songs that straddle the aesthetic line between art music and narrative drama. Following the release of their second LP, Without Intervention in late 2023, Head with Wings began pre-production on a follow-up record titled Vanity of Clarity. This new album became an obsession for the band throughout 2024, which raised some concerns as to why they weren’t spending the year touring in support of the last album. The answer is simple – creative momentum needed to be capitalized on. The result of that year is 70+ minutes of their most engaging and diverse material yet – an outpouring of honesty and emotion that will be heard in due time. As 2025 rolls on, the production of Vanity of Clarity will coincide with local and regional live performances, where rock audiences will get a taste of the new album along with some classic back catalogue material. Alongside long standing members Joshua Corum (vocals), Brandon Cousino (guitars, production) and Mike Short (drums), the band now features Sayre Whitford (Sayre Guitars) on guitar and Connor Oyster (Jelly) on bass.
