Molly Ganley Biography
Molly Ganley is a folk singer-songwriter who spent the first 25 years of her life searching for answers — mostly to questions like “Am I on the right path?” and “How am I even supposed to know?”. Her debut album, Eldest Daughter, chronicles her endeavor to find the reasons for life’s magic and betrayals, and the gradual revelation that there may never be answers. Eldest Daughter explores the complexities of navigating an imperfect world: reflecting on the pain of growing out of the person you used to be; honoring how family, present and past, has shaped you; revering the greater force that causes storms to rage and flowers to bloom; and the nostalgia and anxiety that comes with wondering about it all. A stunning and honest account of finding your way, Eldest Daughter is a record that any recovering perfectionist will relate to.
Molly’s musical style can be compared to that of Brandi Carlile, The Staves, and Lizzy McAlpine. She is based out of NYC.
