The Exaltics Biography
The Exaltics is the alias of German electronic music producer Robert Witschakowski. Based in Jena, central Germany, Robert began producing music in the late 1990s. During this period, he served as a resident DJ and booker at the club Kassablanca, where he played a pivotal role in introducing artists like Jeff Mills, Robert Hood, and Claude Young to the local scene.
In 2006, Robert founded The Exaltics project and co-established the electro/techno label SolarOneMusic with his longtime friend Nico Jagiella. Since then, he has released numerous 12” records and several LPs on labels such as Clone, Crème Organization, Bunker, and his own SolarOneMusic. His music is characterized by deep, cinematic, and charismatic electro, often infused with dark, driven acid techno elements.
Robert has collaborated with notable artists, including Gerald Donald of Drexciya, Helena Hauff, and E.R.P. (Gerard Hanson). His live performances are known for their intensity, featuring his unique blend of electro and acid music.
