Pierce the Veil

Yesterday was the day I attended one Pierce The Veil’s I CANT HEAR YOU! World Tour Concerts yesterday. To me this was so much more than just a concert, it was a pilgrimage to witness the band that has been my anchor, my reason to keep pushing forward. Pierce The Veil isn’t just a band to me they are the lifeline that pulled me from the depths, their music a beacon of hope in my darkest hours. Never did I imagine that a band through their music could wield such power, becoming the very reason I found the strength to stay alive. This wasn’t just any concert, it was my first ever. The thought of being in a crowd with the music enveloping me sent waves of nervousness crashing over me which led to me not being able to not cry, have a shaky voice or shaky hands during each passing song. Despite the anxiety a fierce love for Pierce The Veil burned brighter. Their music had been my sanctuary with their lyrics echoing my unspoken feelings and their melodies a comforting embrace. I will forever remember and cherish this moment of my first concert being a concert by the band that saved my life. Despite being a fan for almost just two years I know my love for this band is not a phase.
